Change requires change

What Does That Really Mean?

Well, to me: "Change requires change” can mean a few things –

1.        If You Want Your Body to Change, You Need to Change Something

2.        You’ve Tried the Same Things—So Something Else Needs to Change

Let’s elaborate –

1.        If You Want Your Body to Change, You Need to Change Something

Let’s take inventory of where you are right now -  Let’s say you are currently working out and have a routine – but it’s not working.  Does your routine need to change?  Is your diet on point or does that need to change instead?

Or perhaps, it's the same diet you’ve tried over and over, the quick fixes you keep chasing, or the same intent to lose weight this time – but then give up after a few weeks before.  If this sounds like you then change is necessary.

Your body isn’t going to magically transform if nothing shifts in your habits, mindset, and/or approach. In fact, if you keep doing the same things, you’re likely to get the same results, or worse, no results at all.

The key here is consistency. Consistency in making small, manageable changes. It’s not about making drastic, overnight shifts that you can’t maintain. It’s about finding what works for your body, your lifestyle, and your goals, and sticking with it.  And remember, it’s not just about sticking with it until you reach your goal and then reverting to your old habits – because you know very well what happens then…..poof all your hard work – gone.  And before you know it all the weight you lost has found you again.

If you want your body to change, you have to change something about your current habits. And remember - small changes can lead to big results over time.

2. You’ve Tried the Same Things—So Something Else Needs to Change

How many times have you tried to lose weight by jumping on the current quick fix fad? I’m guessing each and every time you’ve ended up back at square one and left  feeling frustrated and defeated. Let me remind you: quick fixes don’t lead to long-term success. There are no short cuts or miracle drugs or drinks that will do the work for you.

The problem with quick fixes is they are unsustainable. Yes, they can give you a short-term result, but they don’t address the underlying habits, mindset, or lifestyle choices that need to be changed for lasting transformation. And when you can’t keep up with the intensity, or when life throws you a curveball, those pounds you lost? They come right back, often adding interest.

This is why something else needs to change. If you want to stop the cycle of losing and regaining weight, the change needs to be sustainable, not a temporary fix. It’s not about the perfect diet or extreme workout plan. It's about creating habits that you can maintain forever.

So, instead of focusing on restrictive diets or all-or-nothing thinking, what if you focused on progress, not perfection? What if you built up daily habits that worked for your life, your routine, and your body—not a cookie cutter plan that is forceful and restrictive?

The Real Secret to Lasting Change: Mindset Over Quick Fixes

One of the biggest things women struggle with when it comes to weight loss is shifting the mindset from "quick fixes" to sustainable progress. If you’ve tried every quick-fix diet or challenge and found yourself back to square one every time, it’s time for a mindset shift.

The truth is, lasting change requires consistency—small, daily actions that add up over time. This isn’t about waking up and seeing a completely different body in a few weeks. It’s about waking up every day with the commitment to take small steps toward your goal. Consistency beats quick fixes every single time.

Here’s where many women get discouraged: they expect results to come fast, and when they don’t, they give up. But what if you stopped focusing on the number on the scale and instead started focusing on building the habits you need in order to maintain the body you are desiring? What if you took away the pressure of the scale moving every day and just commit to making the habits stick for 3 months and for your lifetime?

It’s Time for a Change That Lasts

If you’re tired of starting and stopping, of feeling like you’re in an endless weight loss/gain roller coaster ride, it’s time to take a new approach. It’s time to change your mindset, shift your habits, and make choices that are sustainable for your lifestyle.

You deserve a plan that fits your life, not one that leaves you feeling overwhelmed or defeated. And the best part? You don’t have to go on this journey alone.
