What should I eat?
I get it – you think you just need to follow a certain meal plan to lose weight. If you could just get this secret plan, you’d finally reach your goals.
From someone who spent a lot of money on plans and diet systems I can tell you that it won’t work long term. Thinking I needed to eat only certain foods or a certain way in order for me to get the body I so desperately desired. Only being able to eat diet approved foods, giving up carbs and the foods I enjoyed in hopes to lose weight. All caused me to continuously stay on the loop of gaining and losing.
But it all comes down to calories in versus calories out. If you eat in a deficit you will lose weight. Eating according to the foods you like, the style of eating you currently have, will more likely lead you to success, versus changing everything about your current eating habits and forcing you to only eat certain foods over and over again.
If you bought a meal plan, how much of it would you actually enjoy? How much of it would fit into your daily living?
Or would you have to work your life around your meal plan? how long would follow it? A week? Maybe 2 if you are lucky?
And if you are truly determined and follow it until you lose the weight then what? Once you stop and return to your old eating habits don't you think that you would gain all the way back again?
Here I want to instead show you how you can make a lifestyle change - not a temporary fix.
Do you need help with figuring out how much you should be eating? Contact me and I’ll help you with your allotment. Do you want a free 100 calorie snack idea guide? Just click contact me.
If you still just want a meal plan.- there is a quick sample meal in the freebie section. But this is just samples to help guide you in choosing what to eat. I don't want my clients to be eating off of a meal plan because that is not real life. When social situations arise you can't be stuck to eating off of a plan. Somedays you need to be able to have the flexibility to eat foods that are available on the fly.
But in the end, you can eat all foods and food groups and still lose weight. It’s just gotta fit into your daily allotment.
