What's in my gym bag...
I was going to list my favorites for pants, shoes, workout gear etc…and then thought why not just show you what I have…then I thought why not take pictures and inventory so I can clean out my gym bag….such a multitasker. :) (btw lululemon pants and asics shoes)
1) Ear phones – especially if country music is blaring overhead – better have your beats in your ears.
2) Workout log – If you don’t track how much you are lifting how do you remember or know you are improving? Especially if I go to a machine I haven’t used in a while, I don’t want to waste sets guessing what is a good weight for me.
3) Weight lifting belt – makes me feel supported – makes me sweat more
4) Weight lifting straps – helps grip on back day and if deadlifting
5) Booty bands – great to add into your booty days
6) Axe Spray – for those days that you stink a little more than usual.
7) Gum/Halls – cause no one wants to smell stink breath/cause it tastes good
8) Pre workout, Carnigen, Electrolytes – for energy/for energy and help with fat loss/to replenish
9) Cable ankle straps – great for booty exercises
10) Cable thigh straps – another great device for booty exercises
11) Ab Straps – easier to put your arms in here to do ab raises versus hanging from the bar
12) Bfr leg straps/Bfr arm straps – blood flow restriction….I think I did a blog about this
13) Kinesio tape – helps support and alleviate pain with lifting.
14) Lacrosse balls – to roll out those tight spots
15) Saran wrap – I use this under my fat wrap…..which I forgot to take a picture of (those bands you put around your stomach to help sweat)
16) Sweet sweat – under saran to help sweat more
17) Jump rope – best way to get your heart rate up
18) Ankle weights – another device for booty exercises
19) Hip thrust pad – used to put on the bar when doing hip thrusts for comfort
20) Ab roller – great gadget for abdominal exercises
I’m like a boy scout…always prepared. :)
